I decided to do a quick repaint on this piece. Here's the original [link]

I'd painted it before the book came out, so I had ace in her TV jacket. I've put her in something closer to the book, I hope.

It was a struggle getting this one to a standard I'm even vaguely happy with. Altho, having said that, I took a print today to get Sophie Aldred to sign and she wants me to send her one(!), so it must be OK.

That's what I was aiming for, but I'm still not sure. I think its the colour. Might have a fiddle in Photoshop, see if I can rescue it.

Yeah, perhaps her face is just a tad dark - would be easier to rescue it with Photoshop than a repaint, look forward to seeing the results!
